The Verandah, Airlie Beach, Queensland

Our client engaged studio3design for the redevelopment of a corner site as a luxurious restaurant and wine bar, targeting the new residents of the local high-end property and marina development. The design focused on relocating the central bar and dining areas, providing an aspect which fully exploited the property’s lagoon views. Sun-bleached tones and textures, with quirky references to the tropics, create a warm, comfortable space, day and night. Clever lighting highlights the array of textures, while specified pendant lights create further depth.
