Reader’s Digest (Australia) p/l

New office fit-out (3,500 sq. m),

The Client brief was to improve work

practices and seek alternative work solutions to assist in a new cultural vision for Readers Digest with the Company re structure.

Through extensive staff consultation, workplace evaluation studies, briefing and workshops a brief was established informing the concept design. Urban design principles of village and community derived a town square and street model used for definition of communal and private work areas.

As a result the Historic warehouse architecture was embraced in the choice of finishes and “rawness” of the new fit-out, creating a dynamic work environment with improved productivity, communication and staff morale.
