Alterations & additions to existing dwelling

The existing freestanding house underwent a renovation to make it into an open plan family home. The former dining room which had only a small side window was transformed into a light filled ‘wet area’ with skylights and louvers for natural ventilation including a bathroom, shower and WC room and separate laundry. The existing kitchen area, previously closed off to the back garden, was opened up with large bifold and sliding doors to create a seamless indoor and outdoor family room taking advantage of the double width garden at the rear.
